Hm, interesting snack we have here. I’m not sure how I feel about it, so I will break down my comments and concerns.

This candy confused me from the beginning. First of all, the packaging is muddled with unmatched colors and fruits. You have grapes, strawberries, pinks, reds, purples, and gold. I’m just not a fan of the graphic design. They do package each cookie separately, which is something i LOVE about japanese treats. So plus there. But I think they could have done better. Although, the confused packaging does reflect the taste of the treat, so maybe it is just genius. Hm.

And that brings me to the cookies. I just don’t know how to describe this. The cookie cracker part is great, very light and buttery, absolutely delicious, and would do great on its own. But the filling. Oh man. The strawberry cream is good, and once again, on its own with the crackers it would have been great. But they had to throw the rum raisin in there. And it just confuses the taste buds! Its such an intense flavor that it overtakes everything else and just annhialates the competing factors in the sandwich. And I didn’t even get drunk, so, what was the point of that? Rum raisin is just a weird flavor and please leave it out of my cookie sandwiches, right? Ah well, I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone under 85.
