The music video for ‘Ai for you!’ has also been released, ahead of the single release; the track is the theme song for the anime feature film ‘i☆Ris the Movie – Full Energy!! –’, which is currently crushing in theaters across Japan. Announced in 2022 as part of celebrations marking the 10th anniversary of the hybrid idol group i☆Ris, whose members balance a career as both voice actresses and idols, plans for this anime feature film were first revealed on stage at the i☆Ris 10th Anniversary Live ~a Live~ concert on November 7 that year.
The film is a huge thank-you to their fans who have supported them over the years, and this animated show of gratitude by i☆Ris has become a major hit at movie theaters across Japan.

The music video for ‘Ai for you!’ from i☆Ris’ 25th single ‘Ai for you! / Kibou no Hana wo’ is now available on the official i☆Ris YouTube channel, released ahead of the single’s release on June 12. The song is the sixth installment in the group’s series of “full-power collaborations”, part of the ‘i☆Ris 10th→NEXT Kimi to Isshoni “Full Energy!!”’ campaign that aims to build excitement among fans for the animated movie. The song was composed by Masayoshi Oishi, a writer and artist much loved in the anime song world. It is also the first time that all members of i☆Ris have contributed to writing the lyrics, resulting in an emotional song bursting with love for their fans.
In the music video, the group members are each shown individually, surrounded by iris flowers, before spotlights light up a stage filled with all the immersion of a live concert, as the members perform a dance together. The audience in the video is made up of real i☆Ris fans, who wave glow sticks and cheer on the group just like at a real show, bringing the song to life. The lyrics sing about living life as an idol, and true to their word, the members of i☆Ris are currently enjoying an incredible 12th year in their activities as voice actresses and an idol group. As the fifth entry in the aforementioned series of “full-power collaborations”, the song was produced by Kenta Matsukuma, whose work with BiSH and Atarashii Gakko! has brought a twist of rock to the idol world.
This song carries a positive message about overcoming challenges and finding hope for the future, boasting a dramatic and energetic sound. The lyrics to the chorus, which translate roughly as “No matter how exhausting and tough things get, we won’t stop singing,” are something that only i☆Ris, with their 12 years of activity, can deliver.

Anime movie ‘i☆Ris the Movie – Full Energy!! -’
Synopsis
The members of i☆Ris are celebrating the milestone of the 10th anniversary of their debut, and everything is going great. That is, until the thought suddenly hits them: “What will the next 10 years hold in store for us?”
Then, on the day of a concert, a mysterious talking white squirrel suddenly emerges from the group’s merchandise tour T-shirts that had been delivered to their dressing room!
Without warning, the group are enveloped in a dazzling light, as a mysterious world filled with rainbows spreads out before their eyes. This, they learn, is Risuriisu Land, where they can become anything they desire!
The five girls throw themselves into this fun and magical wonderland, where their wildest dreams come true – but they soon begin to realize that something is missing. This is a world without songs!
The white rabbit Shiroris asks i☆Ris to help bring music back to Risu Risu Land, but… Why did all the songs disappear? And can they be brought back so easily? At their journey’s end, will the girls be able to discover what they truly want to be? This is a story about the future that i☆Ris will walk together with you.

Japanese voice actress/idol group i☆Ris made their debut in 2012, and have been celebrating their extended 10th anniversary with the support of their fans. This anime movie was released as a way to show gratitude for their fans, and to ask for their ongoing support.
As i☆Ris continue to bask in the bliss of their time together since their debut, they find themselves wondering: Where will we be in 10 years’ time?
Then, one day, a strange white light envelopes the girls, and a mysterious white rabbit appears.
