Bandai Namco Music Live has announced that a special show titled “Bandai Namco Music Live Festival,” featuring artists and music from Bandai Namco Music Live, will be held at Anime Friends 2024, which will take place from July 18 to July 21 in São Paulo, Brazil.

Anime Friends, the largest anime convention in South America, is held annually in São Paulo. In 2023, the event celebrated its 20th anniversary with approximately 120,000 attendees.

This year, as part of their first collaboration with Anime Friends, the Bandai Namco Music Live Festival will be held on the opening day. The lineup includes five artists: Shuhei Kita, Sayaka Sasaki, ZAQ, nano.RIPE, and MindaRyn. This show aims to bring the excitement of Japanese anime songs to Brazil, with unique collaborations that can only be experienced at this event.

Shuhei Kita

In the summer of 2007, the anime channel Animax held the first All-Japan Anison Grand Prix, which was won by Shuhei Kita due to his outstanding singing ability. This victory earned him the opportunity to debut as an anime song singer. He debuted on February 27, 2008, with the opening song “Breakin’ through” for the TV anime Persona: Trinity Soul.

A Japanese anime and game song singer. Sayaka Sasaki made her major debut in 2010. Since then, she has not only performed at large-scale festivals in Japan but also appeared at conventions overseas, including in Asia, North America, South America, the Middle East, and Europe. She has been responsible for numerous theme songs and insert songs for anime, tokusatsu dramas, and games.
In addition to her original and best albums, she has released three cover albums titled “SAYAKAVER,” targeting anime and tokusatsu fans worldwide. With a voice that seamlessly blends into a wide range of genres, from intense rock to charmingly cute tunes, she is actively involved in various activities as a singer.

ZAQ

ZAQ began playing the piano at the age of three and graduated from the piano department of a music university. She made her major debut in October 2012 with “Sparkling Daydream,” the opening theme of the TV anime Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions. Since then, she has been responsible for many anime theme songs, including those of Classroom of the Elite.
In 2017, she was involved in writing, composing, and arranging the theme song for Animelo Summer Live, one of Japan’s largest anime events. In recent years, she has also crossed label boundaries to provide music to artists such as Maaya Uchida and Emi Nitta.
With her skills as a singer-songwriter, arranger, and sound producer, she has become a singular presence in the music scene, not only as an artist but also as a creator. Since celebrating her 10th anniversary as an artist in October 2022, she has continued to expand her sphere of activity.

nano.RIPE

A group formed in 1998 by Kimiko and Jun Sasaki, who were classmates at a high school in Chiba. During their indie days, they embarked on numerous tours, including a nationwide tour of 63 shows in just three months. They made their major debut on September 22, 2010.
They have performed theme songs for numerous TV anime such as Hanasaku Iroha, Non Non Biyori, Bakuman, Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma, as well as theme songs for NHK’s Minna no Uta and Summer High School Baseball Broadcast. They have also provided music for other artists.
Expanding their musical activities, they have performed solo tours in all 47 prefectures, planetarium concerts, and participated in festivals like ROCK IN JAPAN and COUNTDOWN JAPAN. In 2023, they celebrated the 13th anniversary of their debut.

MindaRyn

MindaRyn is a Thai singer who was exposed to Japanese culture through anime from a young age. She has since relocated to Japan to pursue her anime singing career. Fluent in Thai, Japanese, and English, she is a trilingual artist. Her activities extend beyond Japan and Thailand, gathering support from around the world, particularly in the United States, Southeast Asia, and Europe, thanks to her strong language skills. She has increasingly participated in various anime events worldwide.
Her journey began with posting anime song cover videos on YouTube. Currently, her channel boasts over 1.13 million subscribers with approximately 1.2 billion total video views. Additionally, inspired by her admiration for singer-songwriters, she began playing the guitar and now performs both covers and original songs through solo guitar performances.
In November 2020, she made her artist debut under Lantis with the ending theme “BLUE ROSE knows” for the TV anime By the Grace of the Gods.
