Japan Probe posted this video highlighting the trip one of its bloggers made to Sado, the island in Niigata Perfecture in Japan. It’s a bit long but provides a lot of highlights of his trip, including shots of crested ibises and various cultural aspects of life in Sado.
I like this video since it isn’t super serious. Instead it’s more of a tourist-created video diary of his trip. I had never heard of Sado Island before seeing this clip, and now I want to visit the perfecture. The places and things shown in the video are beautiful and serene, and the fact that the island is pretty remote makes it even more desirable, as I can imagine it’s pretty quiet and peaceful.
