Japanese boyband Da-iCE released their new digital single ‘Story’ on Monday, July 8. ‘Story’ was also selected as the opening theme to the anime series ‘FAIRY TAIL: 100 YEARS QUEST’.

Since the original ‘FAIRY TALE’ manga series began publication in 2006, it has captivated fans all around the world, transcending the manga format with adaptations as anime series, animated feature films, stage plays, video games and merchandise. Nearly two decades on, this classic battle fantasy continues to find adoring fans the world over. Now, five years after the final episode of the ‘FAIRY TALE’ anime series aired in 2019, the sequel series ‘FAIRY TAIL: 100 YEARS QUEST’ has finally begun.

With the theme of “true bonds”, this high-tempo rock tune was composed by Da-iCE member Hayate Wada.

Also included on the digital single is ‘Imitation’, composed by group member Taiki Kudo; this breezy, danceable song with memorable hooks scattered throughout was written for a campaign collaboration between Da-iCE and Kirin Lemon.

Back in April, Da-iCE’s song ‘I wonder’ sparked a surge in fan-made videos on TikTok featuring the hashtag #DiceKuruKoiDance, thanks to its easy-to-follow dance steps, and the track continues to chart highly on multiple music download and streaming platforms. Don’t miss Da-iCE as they build up unstoppable momentum!
