Hoshimachi Suisei debuts new mixed media music video "Caramel Pain"

Fresh off her wildly successful Budokan Live, popular Hololive Virtual tuber Hoshimachi Suisei drops another brand new music video “Caramel Pain” from her recent album: SHINSEI MOKUROKU. Composed by deu, the MV features a mix of 2D-3D-Live Action. Suisei begins as a drawing who breaks free of her canvas prison. We’re taken on a journey as Suisei fights off her creator in the digtial realm before emerging in the real world as a 3D printed model. I especially liked the little The Shining parody. There’s even an easter egg of her reappearing on the set of the BIBBIDIBA Music Video from last year!

The video already surpassed over 1.7 Million views as of this posting and continues to grow.

NIKE Shimagushi, who designed Suisei’s character in the MV also shared some behind the scenes design work!
