[INTERVIEW] Reni Takagi from Momoiro Clover Z

With Momoiro Clover Z’s U.S. tour right around the corner, we had a chance to conduct an interview with the group’s “electric girl” Reni Takagi!

── Thank you for your time today. What are your thoughts of the upcoming U.S. tour?

Reni Let’s have fun together! I love you, I want you, I need you!

── What should fans look forward to in this tour?

Reni I want everyone to see where Momoiro Clover Z is at now, and we’d like to make a great performance as a representative of Japanese idols!

── This is your second show in Los Angeles. Is there anywhere you’d like to visit this time?

Reni I’d like to visit Disneyland and Salvation Mountain.

── Although Los Angeles is still warm, Japan is definitely in the autumn season now. What is an aspect of autumn in Japan that you would like overseas readers to experience one day?

Reni I definitely recommend foods that are unique to Japanese in the autumn, such as baked sweet potatoes, Japanese chestnuts, and Matsutake mushrooms.

Japanese idol group Momoiro Clover Z will be holding a U.S. tour, performing in Hawaii, Los Angeles, and New York.

We had a chance to check them out at Anime Expo last year, and I have to say their performance was so adorable and yet so cool! Jason and I are both very excited to watch them once again.
