Japanese reggae sounds quite intriguing…

I just found this article on the New York Times blog, and it’s pretty interesting.

It’s all about “Japanese reggae”, highlighting some bands and artists who employ a reggae/dancehall style into their music. That sounds like a rather unusual fit, so it’s an intriguing combination, in my opinion.

Here’s an example they mention in the blog, by the artists U-Dou & Platy:
