[Live Report] Kalafina Fully Express “Red” and “Blue” at Budokan over 2 days

Kalafina played their first Nippon Budokan “one-man” show over two days to 20,000 people. The February 28 and March 1 concerts were to recreate the group’s July 16, 2014 release of “THE BEST ‘Red’” and “THE BEST ‘Blue’”.

The shows were named “Kalafina LIVE THE BEST 2015 ‘Red Day’” and “Kalafina LIVE THE BEST 2015 ‘Blue Day’”. Only two songs were played on both days.

There was a surprise prepared for each day. “Ring your bell”, the ending theme song of the second season of TV anime “Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works]” was performed for the first time on “Red Day”. “Far on the water”, the new ending theme of NHK’s “REKISHI HIWA Historia”, was performed for the first time on “Blue Day”. They also announced that their Japan tour would start at Japan International Forum Hall A on October 10 and 11.

The new song, “ring your bell”, will be released as a single on May 13, 2015. It will also be simultaneously released as their first limited edition vinyl.
