Starbucks Japan has released two new chestnut drinks for the autumn season on September 2nd.
First is the Chocolate Marron Frappuccino. The new Frappuccino is made using two whole chestnuts, Frappuccino base and a special chocolate marron sauce. The drink is topped off with whipped cream, chocolate flakes and cacao nibs, for a bittersweet accent to go along with the sweet base. Only the “Tall” size will be available for 590 yen.
The other is the Chocolate Marron Latte. The special marron cacao sauce is combined with rich espresso and steamed milk, then topped with foam milk, chocolate flakes and candy cacao nibs. The crunchy cacao nibs are a great accent for the creamy drink. The latte will be available in all sizes, starting at 450 yen, served hot or iced.
The Chocolate Marron Frappuccino will be available until September 22nd, and the Chocolate Marron Latte will be available until the end of October, while supplies last.
