Recently a new trailer was released for maboroshi (titled in Japan as Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Kōjō), a new anime film from MAPPA (Attack on Titan, Chainsaw Man) and director/writer Mari Okada. You can see the new trailer below:
Originally announced in 2021, this is Okada’s 2nd directorial feature since Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms. The movie synopsis is about Masamune, a 3rd year middle school student (played by Junya Eoki) and their town where times stood still after a steel factory accident. The movie will also a song from veteran singer/songwriter Miyuki Nakajima. The voice cast announced for the movie are:
The film is set to premiere in Japan on September 15th.
