The music isn’t over yet! It’s just been announced that “Sound! Euphonium, The Final Movie” is scheduled for 2026!
“Sound! Euphonium” is a popular brass band anime series produced by Kyoto Animation. Since the first season began in April 2015, the anime has produced a total of three seasons and five movies, including theatrical releases, special editions, and spin-off films. It is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. The beautiful, vibrant visuals and music, along with the earnest efforts of the Kitauji High School Concert Band as they strive for the gold medal at the national competition, left a strong impression on viewers and became a hot topic.
At the “Sound! Euphonium” 10th Anniversary Event held in Yokohama, Japan, a trailer and teaser visual were unveiled. The trailer reflects on the past 10 years in chronological order, whereas the visual illustrates the protagonist Kumiko Oumae jumping with a refreshing smile under the blue sky.
