Tickets On Sale Now For Hayao Miyazaki’s Academy-Award Winning Feature
Tickets are on sale now for the screenings of remarkable director Hayao Miyazaki’s celebrated adventure Spirited Away, the final film in the Studio Ghibli Fest 2023 lineup. GKIDS, celebrating its 15th anniversary as producer and distributor of multiple Academy Award®-nominated animated features, and Fathom Events, are proud to continue their collaboration for Studio Ghibli Fest 2023, and deliver a slate highlighting all ten of Hayao Miyazaki’s iconic animated films with Studio Ghibli, as well as the first-ever North American screenings of SPIRITED AWAY: Live On Stage.
The film will be shown in both original Japanese and English dubbed versions. In addition to the full feature, the final event in Studio Ghibli Fest 2023 will include a specially curated program of bonus content in anticipation for the theatrical release of Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli’s latest film, The Boy and the Heron. Audiences will get to view a pre-recorded performance of “Spinning Globe“, the theme song for The Boy and the Heron, penned and performed by global J-pop superstar Kenshi Yonezu. In addition is an exclusive subtitled clip of a conversation about working on the film with Hayao Miyazaki between Kenshi Yonezu and Masaki Suda, who provides the original voice of the Gray Heron in The Boy and the Heron.
