Being Los Angeles-based, we’re no strangers to the culinary dining scene of the local food trucks… But, if you’re ever in Japan, we recommend chasing down the Sanrio Cafe Wagon! There are several branded trucks, featuring unique wraps, touring different prefectures each weekend: Hello Kitty, Sanrio Crepe, Miracle Gift Parade, and winner of the NEXT KAWAII PROJECT in 2022-2023, Hanamaruobake or, affectionately known as Marumaru for short!

The cute and distinct truck not only features sweet selections of baked goods including crepes, donuts, cookies, but also limited edition merchandise that can only be purchased exclusively at the trucks.

Be sure to celebrate our shy ghost friend, Marumaru, and their birthday month in August with a limited edition crepe!
