X Japan, who just played their first full show in Los Angeles EVER, was featured in an article in LA Weekly last week.
The article chronicles the band’s existence up until now, noting that they also just performed at Lollapalooza in Chicago a few months ago.
The gig at the Wiltern Theatre last Saturday was the first in their current US tour.
Also included in the article is a link to a great collection of photos from the band’s music video shoot for the song Jade.
X Japan shot four music videos in Los Angeles back in January, and this photo gallery is a great look into how that all went down.

This is some nice exposure for the band here in the States, and hopefully they can attain a larger audience of fans here than they have been used to so far in their illustrious career.
